Jeremy Smith

AI, infrastructure, and who ends up owning it

About

I'm Jeremy Smith. I write here about artificial intelligence, the infrastructure it runs on, and who ends up owning that infrastructure.

Most of what I publish is about the gap between what governments and companies say about AI and what they are actually building. I try to show my working, cite the numbers, and take the strongest version of the opposing argument seriously rather than waving it away.

I also build things. Most of my code is on GitHub, largely small TypeScript primitives for working with language models and some ongoing multi-agent research.

Everything here is written in a personal capacity and represents nobody's views but my own.
